Terms of Use

yapdrop.fun (the "Site") is a public internet experiment operated under the name yapdrop.fun ("we," "us", "our"). By using the Site or paying to publish a message, you agree to these terms. If you do not agree, do not use the Site.

People pay us through Venmo and write a message (up to 280 characters) in the payment note. We publish messages on a public feed, shown larger for larger payments.

You must be 18 or older.

Payment does not guarantee publication. We publish most messages automatically without reviewing them first, and we may hold, remove, or decline any message at any time. Publication is not an endorsement.

All payments are final. We may refund a payment at our discretion but are not required to. Venmo fees are not refunded. If a payment is reversed or disputed, we may remove the message. Payments are not donations and are not tax-deductible.

You are responsible for your message. Do not post threats or harassment aimed at a person, other people's private information, illegal content, content that infringes someone's rights, or spam. You keep ownership of your message and give us a free, worldwide, non-exclusive license to display, copy, and share it, including as images, on the Site and to promote yapdrop.fun, for as long as it is published and a reasonable time afterward. You agree to cover claims arising from your message.

We do not display your name or Venmo username. However, Venmo and we may keep transaction records, your payment may appear on Venmo's own feed depending on your Venmo settings, and we may disclose information when the law requires it.

To report a message or send a copyright notice, email contact@yapdrop.fun with the message's link and the reason. For copyright notices, include your contact details, a description of the work, a statement that you believe the use is unauthorized, and a statement that your notice is accurate. We may remove content and limit access for repeat violators.

The Site is an experiment provided "AS IS" and "AS AVAILABLE." We do not promise it will be available or that messages will stay published.

TO THE EXTENT THE LAW ALLOWS, WE ARE NOT LIABLE FOR INDIRECT OR CONSEQUENTIAL DAMAGES OR FOR WHAT OTHERS POST, AND OUR TOTAL LIABILITY IS LIMITED TO WHAT YOU PAID US IN THE PRIOR 12 MONTHS. Some places do not allow these limits, so they may not apply to you.

These terms are governed by the laws of the State of New York. Disputes will be brought in the state or federal courts located in New York.

We may update these terms by changing the effective date above. Continuing to use the Site after a change means you accept it.
