Privacy Policy
Effective October 20, 2026
Who we are.
yapdrop.fun (the "Site") is operated under the name yapdrop.fun ("we," "us", "our"). Contact: contact@yapdrop.fun.
What we collect.
When someone pays us on Venmo, we receive a notification email. Our database stores only the message text, the amount paid, the time, Venmo's transaction ID, and processing statuses. We do not store the payer's name or Venmo username in our database. The original emails, which include the payer's name and username, arrive in our email inbox and are kept until we delete them. If an email cannot be processed, an excerpt of up to 3,000 characters, which may include the payer's name, may be kept for up to 7 days for troubleshooting.
What is public.
Message text, amount, and time are public, along with a running total of amounts paid.
Visitors.
Our hosting provider may log technical data such as IP address and browser type. We do not use accounts, advertising cookies, or analytics. We do not track you across other sites, so we do not respond differently to Do Not Track signals.
Who we share with.
Service providers that help us run the Site: Lovable (hosting and database), Google (email and scripts), and Venmo/PayPal (payments). We do not sell personal information. We may disclose information if the law requires it or to protect safety.
Venmo.
Payments are made through Venmo, which has its own privacy policy and keeps its own records. Depending on your Venmo settings, your payment, name, and note may appear on Venmo's public feed. We cannot promise absolute anonymity.
Your requests.
To ask us to remove a message or information relating to you, email contact@yapdrop.fun with the message's link. We will review and respond.
Children.
This Site is for people 18 and older. We do not knowingly collect information from anyone under 18.
Changes.
We may update this policy and will change the effective date above when we do.
